1.5 pounds boneless beef round steak

1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)

1 onion, chopped

1 or 2 canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, chopped

1 teaspoon oregano

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1 clove garlic, minced

tortillas

cheddar cheese, shredded

shredded jicama (optional)

Trim fat from meat, and cut into small-bite-sized pieces.

Put meat, tomatoes, onion, peppers, oregano, cumin, and garlic into crock pot. Cover and cook on low setting for 8 hours, or on high setting for 4 hours.

Warm tortillas.

Put meat, cheese, salso, jicama, and sour cream into tortillas.
