Yeast Waffles

Ingredients Instructions

  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast

  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

  1. Heat milk and butter just until butter melts, then remove from heat.
  2. Combine flour and yeast in a large mixing bowl.
  3. After milk has cooled to baby bottle temperature, add rest of ingredients to it.
  4. Add milk mixture to flour in mixing bowl, and stir.
  5. Put mixture in fridge overnight. Batter will rise!
  6. In the morning, cook in a waffle iron.
